We have a very exciting opportunity come up in the Essex and Reading areas, the role is for a Lead Quality Nurse who will be managing clinical staff across multiple sites, ensuring standards, performance and compliance is met across sites. The role will be 3 days a week (weekdays) - 24 hours - and will require some travel to sites across Essex and Reading, there will be the option for remote working (home working) on some days but there will be a requirement to travel across sites when needed, so you'll need to be comfortable with that and ideally possess your own car with clean driving licence,
You'll be working to optimize services and create positive working environment for staff and patients alike, by ensuring management at each site is in tune with staff and there are clear lines of communication, as well as collaborating with Quality, HR and the Clinical and Operational teams to prepare for and complete successful CQC inspections in the Services.
The role requires someone who has worked within General Practice and has good understanding of the running and structure of GP surgeries. You will need to have experience working in a senior position, with management duties included in your day to day. You will be required to be a Nurse with the NMC and registered with the RCN, ideally you'll have a MSc in Advanced Practice - although not absolutely required if the other experience and skills are relevant.
The package included within the role included £65,000 (FTE), 24 hours of work, NHS pension, 5 weeks of annual leave + bank holidays off and fantastic CPD and networking opportunities.
