Registered Children’s Nurse -Neonatal
Our Neonatal Unit here at Broomfield Hospital is seeking to recruit Band 5/6 Nurses to join our kind, professional and positive team. We are a Level 2 Neonatal Unit with 16 cots, 2 ITU, 4 HDU and 10 SC and aim to deliver excellent patient care as a team.

Are you an experienced nurse or recently newly qualified and have a passion for working within our specialty? If you are then we want to hear from you! We offer a friendly and supportive team environment that enables you to gain invaluable experience and skills whilst caring for our vulnerable babies and their families.
Experience in Neonatal care is advantageous; however training and support will be given to those successful candidates who do not meet the desirable criterion. The successful candidate/s must be able to demonstrate that they are committed to a career in neonatal nursing and be able to work in an intensive care setting. You must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate ability to work in partnership with parents and the multidisciplinary team.
Salary for Band 5 £21,909-£28,462, for Band 6 £26,302-£35,225 pa (pro rata for part time working).

MEHT contracts are subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period.
All Registered Nurse/Midwife/Theatre Practitioner or ODP you will be required to take a Drug Calculation Test. (please note 100% pass mark required)
All HCA/HCSW/MCA will be required to take a Literacy and Numeracy test (80% pass required) as part of the pre employment process.
