We are seeking registered nurses to work within our team in General surgery with special interest in Urology and Vascular.
We are a large ward with 32 beds with a ratio of 1 RN to 8 patients, the ward is busy and demanding but also rewarding and challenging with opportunities to learn and develop.
With a firm belief in education you will be supported in your nursing development with an open door policy to the senior sister so you know you can always rely on having an ear to discuss your future and progress.

You will need very good communication skills to network closely with other departments and multidisciplinary teams, and excellent patient care to manage your caseload of patients
You will be trained in Larva, VAC & Pico dressings and a full ward induction is given as well as a trust induction.

MEHT contracts are subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period.
All Registered Nurse/Midwife/Theatre Practitioner or ODP you will be required to take a Drug Calculation Test. (please note 100% pass mark required)
All HCA/HCSW/MCA will be required to take a Literacy and Numeracy test (80% pass required) as part of the pre employment process.
