Registered Nurse - RMN / RNLD - Mental Health Hospital

Location: Darlington, Durham

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum £1,500 welcome bonus

Hours: Full time ( 37.5 hours per week ) or Part time ( 24 - 30 hours per week ) hours available - you can choose depending on your preference

Shift Patterns: Day shifts or Night shifts available or a mixture of both - you can choose depending on your preference

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details : We are looking for newly qualified or experienced Nurses ( RMN or RNLD trained) to work within a Mental Health Hospital, which is located near Darlington, provides specialist inpatient care for people, of adult working age, with mental health needs who present with complex needs and behaviours that challenge, in a safe and supportive environment. The hospital has 73 beds across five wards delivering individual treatment programmes for:


  • High dependency rehabilitation for both males and females with challenging and complex needs
  • Two Specialist DBT treatment units for female personality disorder
  • Mixed 24/7 acute admission, assessment and treatment unit which also provides an inpatient detox service

The successful Nurse will work within a multidisciplinary team offering exceptional care to service users. The Hospital has been rated as 'Good' by the CQC. Staff morale is very high.

The management team at the hospital are also very dedicated to supporting and developing all the Nurses in the team, offering on-going training programmes. The Manager is able to accommodate both part time and full time hours. They are able to be flexible with regard to shift pattern, so you will be able to choose to work day shifts only or night shifts only or a mixture of both if you prefer.

The Hospital Manager has been with the company for a substantial amount of time and is highly-qualified in various areas of nursing, so is very keen to invest time into the training and development of all staff. There are also plenty of opportunities to undertake additional training courses externally on top of the extensive in-house training.
