Location: Wrexham
Salary: £32,000 - £33,000 pa – inclusive of shift and bank holiday working
Hours: 37.5 hrs over 7 days – working a 24/7 shift pattern
Role: Permanent full-time
Description:
Nursing care making relevant assessment of patients’ care needs, developing, implementing and evaluating care agendas with the shift team, supervising them (on occasions) in the absence of the Lead Nurse.
Impacting and maintaining improvement of clinical guidelines and procedures for Residents by working to best practice knowledge based on the latest healing concepts in the addictions and substance misuse sector.
Areas and expectancies
Monitoring group work programme, including clinical and educational groups, therapeutic interventions, training courses and activities
Partake and support with the progress, induction and application of evidence-based findings in the excellent standard of nursing care and practices
Implementing best nursing practice within substance misuse treatments that aid the service-user detoxification recovery plan
Maintain the therapeutic relationship with the patients, taking a proactive approach, supervising (as required) mentoring and supporting others in the team
Essential qualifications
Current NMC Registration as RMN/RGN/RNLD
Evidence of recent Continuous professional development
Specialist qualification to degree level
New qualified Nurses from a range of backgrounds will be considered
