We have an amazing opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our clients well established and dedicated team of Healthcare Professionals located in Stagenhoe in the beautiful Hitchin countryside. Working 3 out of 7 days they provide a great work balance whilst you develop your career.

Stagenhoe is a specialist neurological care centre based in Hertfordshire, caring for people aged 18 and over with a range of neurological conditions such as Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis. At Stagenhoe, they provide the care people need to optimise their health and wellbeing, maximise their independence and support their emotional and social needs.

Pay: £30,198 - £35,892 per annum

We then offer the below bonuses:

*£1,000 joining bonus once you start
*£2,400 payment on completion of probation period

*£3,600 Retention bonus, paid in 12 monthly instalments

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (part time available but MUST be flexible)

Enhancements:
8.00 pm to 6.00 am (nights) 30%
Friday midnight to Sunday midnight (weekends 45%
Public Holidays 24 hours midnight to midnight 60%

The role:
*This post will report directly to the Senior Nurse/Team Leader
*The post will also be responsible for providing leadership, appraisal and supervision to other team members as appropriate
*In the absence of a Senior Nurse/Team Leader, the post holder will take charge of the shift, planning and allocating responsibilities as appropriate
*The staff nurse will work collaboratively with the nursing team and the wider multi-disciplinary team in order to provide an integrated, proactive and high quality service

You will be:
*Registered Nurse, preferably with experience in neurological or specialist palliative care
*Relevant post-registration training or willing and able to gain within 1 year
*An ability to demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development
*Awareness of current legislation within independent care sector
*Completion of NMC recognised accredited mentor training and able to mentor students and less experienced staff
