Registered Nurse Paediatric job in Camden Town at Sugarman Health & Wellbeing

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are currently seeking a Paediatric Nurse to provide care and support to a 3 year old male with complex health needs in his home in Islington, London.

You would become an essential part of his existing care team in this fulfilling and exciting role. The family are looking for someone who will play and communicate with their son. Some who will be able to interpret his behaviour and reactions and who can support him fully with all his clinical needs such as ventilation and tracheostomy.

Shifts Available are:

Weekdays - 0800-1730

Nights 2000-0800 Monday to Sunday

Requirements of the Paediatric Nurse role:

• ITU experience preferred but not essential

• Confident in working alone in the community

• Experience with super pubic catheter

• Able to work days, nights and weekends

• Administer medication

• Accessing gastrostomy and monitoring skin integrity

• Ventilation and tracheostomy experience

• To be respectful and maintain professional boundaries

• Communication needs for children with complex needs-eye gaze

• Someone who will go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package

• Someone who will respect families wishes in decision making regarding care given and escalation required

• A full UK driving license

• A clean enhanced DBS
