An opportunity has arisen for Relief Residential Childcare Workers to work in children's homes across the county; based in Seaford, Eastbourne, Hailsham, and St Leonards.

Children in care are some of the most vulnerable in the community and looking after them is one of our most important responsibilities. We need people who are able to deliver high quality care, to meet the physical, emotional, health and social needs of children and young people in our homes.

If you are passionate and committed to working with adolescent children, want to help them reach their full potential, develop and maximise their opportunities; then we would like to hear from you. You will have had experience of working directly with children and can demonstrate a good understanding of child care and child development. Our looked after children can often be challenging and will require a professionally nurturing approach. Youll will need to be committed, adaptable to children's needs and go the extra mile. We want you to make a real difference in their lives.

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate all of the above, have good communication skills, the ability to listen to children, act on their behalf, as well as being flexible enough to be part of the larger team around the child.
