Time Recruitment is proud to be leading the search for a Renal Nurse for an outstanding international provider of innovative renal care both in the UK and nationwide; we are looking for a Registered Nurse to join their experienced and longstanding team in Sidcup, London
Our client provides vital critical care services for individuals with end-stage kidney failure in an outpatient clinic setting; meaning this is a fast-paced role ideal for nurses with hospital experience or a desire to move into a busy outpatient clinic setting; if you're looking for a role with incredible Staff Nurse to patient ratio levels then this is the role for you!
This is an incredibly patient centric role in which you will gain full training and development in this specialist area despite having a knowledge of Renal care; this is ideal for newly qualified RGN's or RGN's with experience but desire a new specialist area to work within! Your Renal Nurse training will be expansive ranging from 6-12 months plus you will have the support of an onsite doctor and specialist MDT who have a vast amount of experience and knowledge in this area.
As a Renal Nurse here you will work closely with a small group of patients as their named nurse; 1 nurse to 5 patients to be precise; with 2 support staff per patient; you will care for 5 patients during a 6 hour period. You will support them emotionally and physically throughout their ongoing treatment providing care to them 3 times per week, discussing diet/nutrition, and administering medications such as fluid therapies/IV management. You will take ownership of care documentation to ensure that the service you provide is fully is in line with CQC standards and provide clinical excellence whilst effectively health promoting and ensuring your patients well-being.
This is a top specification service with over 20 stations and 4 consultation rooms and you will be supported by 4-5 additional nurses during your shift, a deputy clinic manager and a clinic manager who are hands on and proactive; you will be assigned a designated mentor during your training period to ensure you succeed in your new role.
