My client, a very innovative and growing CAR-T Biotech firm in Oxford are currently looking to rapidly expand as as such are looking to appoint a Research Associate for their Immunology group.
Position & Purpose:
* Performs lab assignment sand experiments with moderate supervision
* Coordinates with team members to assist with completion with research projects
Minimum Education:
* Masters degree / Bachelors degree in a Biological discipline
Primary Functions:
* Participates in planning, design and execution of experiments
* Responsible for maintaining Cell Culture of CAR-T Cells
* Flow Cytometry
* Lymphocyte isolation from blood products
* ELISPOT
* Makes observations, documents experimental methods and results in a well-maintained lab notebook
* Assists with processing large samples and data sets
* Interprets and presents experimental results
* Presents data informally in small group settings
* Complies with standard lab practices and company policies
Key Experiences:
* Good technical expertise and experience with relevant laboratory techniques
* Cell Culture experience within a laboratory setting (Academia or Commercial)
* Immunology / T Cell experience is preferred but not essential
* Ability to follow written protocols and standards
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
