Research Science and Medical Writing Department Manager Job job in London at Chase Medical

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a candidate to join a world-renowned team, as their Head of Advanced Research Science and Medical Writing Division, based in central London.

The successful candidate will lead the medical writing team and contribute to the innovative work of the organisation which is based within the Pharmacology sector. The role requires notable leadership, management and research experience, and the ability to write effectively, adapting your style to suit the appropriate audience.

This may include the writing of the following (to name a few):

• Clinical Study Protocols
• Regulatory and Ethics Submission Management
• Clinical Study Report Writing

You will work within a fast-paced environment, prioritising effectively and will follow company and regulatory standards and guidelines, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and harmonize technical procedures and standards to improve quality and efficacy (ICH-GCP).

Qualifications Required:

PHD or MD

Minimum of 5 First Author Academic Publications

Experience Desired:

5 years' industry or academia experience of line management of a medical writing team

Advanced knowledge of industry guidance and standards (FDA, EMA, PMDA etc.)

Portfolio evidence of your own implementation of new processes in relation to best practice.

Employment Package

Up to £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

5 weeks of annual leave + bank holidays (increases with length of service)

Full Private Healthcare & Life Assurance (3x base salary)

Pension Contribution

Full-time hours (40 per week)
