Job Description

My client is looking for Support Workers to join their small children's home, specialising in learning disabilities, based in Wolverhampton, hourly rate of pay up to £9 working on a 3 days on, 3 days off rota, 7am - 10pm.

You will be joining a care company who are passionate about delivering outstanding care and support to young people with additional needs. My client continues to flourish and grow; therefore, you will be joining a company with possible further opportunities for the future.

The Role;

As a Support Worker, you will;

  • Deliver the highest standard of care to the residents
  • Ensure the young people's physical and psychological welfare is well looked after.
  • Be responsible for engaging the young people in various activities
  • Support their educational needs and help them learn independent living skills.

The Person;

To qualify for the Support Worker role, you will need;

  • Experience within a similar role either within adult learning disability service or children's
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A 'can do' attitude with motivation to achieve excellence
  • A NVQ / QCF Level 3 (Children's & Young People) would be desired but not essential
  • A clean UK driving licence
