We are looking for a resource planner to actively manage the staff rotas across the organisation.

Job Description

To actively manage the staff rotas across the organisation to ensure the best utilisation of resource supporting our young people.

To be responsible for the daily deployment of agency resource and re-deployment of Prior’s Court resource to ensure safe levels of staffing are always maintained.

Use data and insight to influence other internal functions to improve resource levels; ensuring that we prioritise homes, days and shifts that are needed the most.

About Prior's Court

Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 90 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011.

Since opening, our support team has grown from around 20 to 500 and we have built a reputation as a leading edge educational, vocational, and residential facility for young people with autism. We are situated on 50 acres of parkland with various facilities including accommodation for our young people, a school with a wide range of facilities and offices.

About the job

You will be working in collaboration with care, education, and leadership teams to identify coverages and shortages in staffing levels and resolving these to ensure an optimal and safe staffing level is always maintained across site. You will support the management and leadership teams to ensure resource is well planned to deliver outcomes and look to tackle any staffing issues well in advance.

To support our young people, we work shifts to maximise coverage, thus this role will be full time, 38 hours a week on a rota basis. We have shifts 3 x 06:15 to 16:15 and 1 x 12:00 - 22:00 where you will work 4 shifts on and 3 shifts off. Including 1 in 5 weekends.

We aim to make all staff feel valued and supported with training and a competitive salary along with providing the knowledge and skills needed to fulfil a great job.

All positions at the school are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and references. Prior’s Court Foundation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
