Job Description

Registered Mental health Nurse - Hull - High volume of shifts available - Flexible working hours

Your new company
Hays Healthcare has career opportunities for individuals experienced in Mental Health Nursing, in an established NHS Trust in Hull. We currently have a high volume of shifts available, in order to cover the fast paced environment of the NHS. W offer flexible working hours, with the possibility to work on either full or part-time agency basis.

Your new role

You will be required to support individuals who suffer from a number of conditions such as anxiety, depression and other stress related illnesses. Typical responsibilities include:

  • assessing and planning nursing care requirements
  • combating stigma and helping patients and their families deal with it
  • administering medication
  • agreeing and reviewing care plans and monitoring progress
  • giving advice and arranging support for patients, relatives and carers
  • liaising with doctors, social workers and other professionals


What you'll need to succeed

To be a successful applicant you will need a minimum of at least 6 months nursing experience in the NHS, within the last 2 years. You will also need to be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC). You must be able to adapt to a fast paced working environment, be an excellent communicator and be confident in decision making abilities.
