Job Title: Staff Nurse

Service Type: CAMHS Unit

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £27,373.50 benefits - negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week / part time - 24 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

This purpose-built learning disabilities unit, offers comprehensive tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in a low secure setting for adolescents with a learning disability or autism, in a safe and secure environment.

Set within its own private grounds in a quiet, residential area in High Wycombe, this is a 12-bedded facility that delivers expert, multidisciplinary treatment for young people. All services are delivered in partnership with the NHS and structured cost frameworks are provided for commissioners and referring healthcare professionals.

  • Male and female patients aged between 13 and 17 years
  • Those who have diagnoses of learning disabilities or autism and a concurrent mental illness requiring detention in a low secure setting

  • Expert, individualised care in a safe, secure and highly supportive setting
  • The ability for patients to transition between services as appropriate
