We are looking for a Mental Health Practitioner to work in the Mental Health Liaison Team, based at Salford. The successful candidate would receive referrals from all acute wards in the hospital, including the A and E department and would carry out urgent assessments. They would conduct risk assessments and develop care plans based on the service users needs. Emergency assessment experience either from Liaison, Home Treatment or Assessment teams is essential.
This is a full time contract initially for 3 months, Monday to Sunday shifts, shift pattern could be negotiated. Pay rates are negotiable per hour depending on the days you are working and whether it is day or night.

As an Liaison Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Care planning
- Crisis Intervention
- Triage Nursing
- Care Coordinating
- Signposting to other agencies
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Valid NMC PIN
- Experience in NHS mental Health team
- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication
