Sales Executive - Laboratory essentials

Home-based (required in the office once a week - West Herts)

Permanent

Up to £42k per annum

Role requirements:

Identification of prospect clients, managing relationships with existing clients and maximising your opportunity to up/cross-sell products and services where appropriate

Demonstrate understanding of client processes and identify opportunities

Promotion of an assigned portfolio of products using telephone, video conferencing, hard and soft copy promotional literature and social media

Management of 360 sales lifecycle - from enquiry, to negotiation on pricing and terms, to the close

Working across other disciplines within the business to ensure provision of full technical information through arranging product demonstrations

Maintenance of accurate customer information on sales database (Salesforce), and utilising all sales tools to maximise efficienciesYour profile:

Work experience in a scientific industry field, or an education background (eg - Biological-based discipline) at BSc or equivalent

Good understanding of laboratory products (pipettes, balances, filtration and water testing for example)

A proven background in any of the following: sales/account management/business development/product management

Strong business acumen, able to work independently with good prioritising and influencing skills
