Available Hours: Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week. About the role

Managing two neighbourhood network schemes in the west of Leeds, you will play a key part in developing key services which meet the needs of older people in the Pudsey and Farsley area. The Scheme Manager will be responsible for line managing a team of staff across the two schemes and working the Communities Manager and Area Manager to develop and execute business development and service delivery plans which are specific to local needs and support the aims of the wider MHA Strategy. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the financial plan, balancing income against expenditure and taking early appropriate action against where variations are identified. About you

It is essential that you have range of business and operational skills and are confident with finance packages, creating and working towards a budget and completing grant applications. You're a confident communicator and have the ability to effectively lead a team of volunteers, and work with colleagues of all levels across MHA. You are IT literate and proficient in using MS Office for record keeping and communications. You will possess a strong drive to deliver high quality services that reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of community settings. As a charity that cares for older people, you should be passionate about reducing loneliness and isolation and determined to make a difference for the 17,000 individuals we support across the country It is essential that you are able to drive and have use of a car, as you will be travelling between sites.
