Job Description

Scheme Manager based at East Surrey MHA Communities

Available Hours:

Part Time - 16 hours per week

As part of our ambitious strategy to support more older people in more local communities we are looking for a Scheme Manager to lead the development of our Communities.

Based in Surrey, this is an exciting opportunity for you to directly support older people; identifying local need and working with the wider team to establish meaningful services which reduce feelings of loneliness and social isolation and improve wellbeing. The post requires an individual with a range of business and operational skills, but critically, who possess a strong drive to deliver high quality services that reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of community settings.
The Scheme Manager will be responsible for line managing any additional staff appointments to the Scheme - this will depend upon the size of the Scheme and the breadth and volume of services delivered. Volunteers are crucial to the successful operating of any Communities and the Scheme Manager will be responsible for the recruitment and selection and on-going support and supervision of all Volunteers.
