As part of this, our community (physical health) services in Bury, Oldham, Rochadale (adult services) and Trafford will be moving to a new NHS Provider in 2019. For Bury, Oldham, Rochdale (adult services) this will take place on 1 July 2019.
We have been very proud to run community (physical health) services over the last seven years, but we believe there are other provider organisations better positioned to enable these community services to achieve more for the benefit of local people. We are working closely with our staff and colleagues in the new provider organisations to ensure the smoothest possible transfer.

Trafford CFW is looking to recruit pro-active, enthusiastic and motivated qualified School Nurse Specialist Practitioners with strong team-working skills and a commitment to delivering high quality, child-centred services. If successful, you will be joining a supportive and friendly multi-agency team who share the same commitment. A willingness and ability to contribute to and lead changes within Children’s Services are essential to the role. Post holders need to work flexibly and be committed to working innovatively with other children services colleagues.
We are seeking to employ dynamic, forward thinking practitioners who have an awareness of contemporary policy documents relating to the development of Children’s Services and the Public Health Agenda.
You must have good communication skills, the ability to work using your own initiative and be computer literate. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
Whilst the successful applicant will primarily work within one team, you may be required to work at other locations to ensure equitable service delivery. Core service hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Whilst these posts are year-round there is the option to purchase up to 2 weeks additional leave.

All new starters to Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust who are appointed to a post which requires a Disclosure Barring Certificate check (DBS) will be recharged for the full cost of the check. Substantive staff can choose to spread the cost over their first three months’ salary or pay the full amount from their first months’ salary. Members to the Trust bank must repay the full amount from their first pay. The Trust encourages all staff and bank workers to register with the DBS update service at an annual cost of £13, for bank members this is obligatory. The cost of an enhanced DBS check is £44 and for a standard check £26, both attract an administration charge of £3.50.
