Scrub Practitioner - General Surgery

Our client is looking for a Scrub Practitioner to join their team in their established, ASPP accredited, operating theatre department who cover a range of surgeries including orthopaedics, ophthalmic surgery, recovery and endoscopy.
Located in Droitwich Spa, this is a full-time role with a flexible shifts available between Monday -Saturday, 8am - 6.30pm. Our client is also open to considering applications of nurses who would like to work 4 days a week. The Hospital also has fantastic transport links and also offers free parking.
The successful candidate will put patient care at the heart of everything they do and as a qualified practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration they will use their skills and knowledge to work well within a team, adopting a flexible and collaborative approach at all times.
Candidates will be keen to learn and develop new skills and continue to grow their career and applications are welcome from either Nurses or ODP's.
Desired skills and experience:
Flexible and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with attention to detail
Possess a caring and professional patient focussed attitude
Ability to work in a team as well as being able to use own initiative when required
Strong work ethic which includes being reliable and punctual
Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment
Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
Mentorship qualification Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.Benefits:
