Up to £29,000

Eclypse Recruitment are currently looking for a full-time Scrub Practitioner to join the team in a private treatment centre in Chesterfield. We can accept Registered Nurse or ODP applicants

This service, which has a 'Good' CQC rating, specialises in orthopaedic surgery including hip, knee, shoulder and elbow, foot and ankle, hand and spinal procedures. The treatment centre is dedicated to providing compassionate, top quality care to their patients and are therefore looking to expand their team in order to carry out further developments and improvements to their services.

The Role

This role as a Scrub Practitioner will require you to carry out a wide variety of clinical work in the theatre whilst always being attentive to the needs and care of your patients.

Key duties include:

  • Providing each of your patients with a high level of personalised care throughout their experience with a constant view of ways of improvement
  • Ensuring all equipment is managed safely and effectively and maintaining control of the sterile field whilst anticipating the needs of the surgeon and other colleagues
  • Ensuring all procedures are carried out to the highest level of quality and meet the individual needs of each patient using the appropriate equipment
  • Managing the safety and care of patients before, during and after they enter the Operating theatre and ensuring the make their own conscious, informed decisions
  • Ensuring all care is accurately documented with the correct paperwork, records and documents

The Candidate

A successful candidate will have/be:

  • NMC or HCPC registered - RGN or ODP
  • Experience within an Orthopaedic Theatre
  • Passionate about your patients and their care

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week across 4 days and you will have an on-call commitment.
