SRG are currently working with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in the UK who are one of the main suppliers of generic and speciality medicines to the NHS.
As a Senior Analytical Scientist within the organisation's New Product Development (NPD) department, this role will involve the design and performance of laboratory work/experiments, and contribution to performance improvements ensuring project milestones are achieved within agreed timescales and in compliance with cGMP. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and mentoring to the junior analysts, and working within a troubleshooting capacity regarding analytical method validation.
Responsibilities:
Designing, performing, and reporting experimental work defined in the project plans.
Carrying out all work activities in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Managing available resources to achieve project objectives.
Contributing to the development of new methodologies, processes and products to support improvements in lab efficiency and project range.
Working in the lab providing analytical support to the development of new sterile products
Requirements:
Substantial analytical method development /validation experience essential
Educated to a minimum of BSc level within a Life Sciences discipline, related scientific subject, however an MSc/PhD in Life Sciences subject is highly desirable
Previous experience within a Pharmaceutical GMP environment.
Experience of using AQbD design for analytical method development/ validation.
Good technical writing skills and verbal communication
