Senior Care Assistants needed for independent Residential Home

We are currently recruiting for Senior Care Assistants to join the team at an intimate and comfortable Residential Care Home in Eastbourne. The company has many years' experience in the industry and a great reputation within the local community for the care they provide. Staff plan the care on an individual basis and are committed to meeting the special cultural needs of any and all residents in the care home.

Our client strives to deliver the highest standards of care within their residential home and are seeking a strong Senior Care Assistant with previous care experience to join their dedicated care team.

About the home:

This is an attractive 30 bedded residential care home specialising in elderly and dementia care. Their CQC report is rated "GOOD" and person-centred care is at the very heart of the company's values. The home is located in a pleasant town setting yet close to Eastbourne's attractive seaside and surrounding countryside.

These are Full Time, permanent Senior Care Assistant roles (36 hours per week, alternate weekends) paying £9.90 per hour. Both Days and Nights are available and immediate starts are possible.

Senior Care Assistant Duties:

To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents
To provide leadership and support to the care staff
Update care plans
Responsible for the administration of medication
Maintain residents dignity and independence at all times

As a Senior Care Assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.


Previous experience within a nursing/residential home
Previous experience as a Senior HCA
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
Medication trained
