Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Dementia Care Assistant to join our luxury care complex in Kingston Surrey.

The salary for our Senior Dementia Care Assistant is up to £10.50 per hour DOE.

Full or part time contracts are available.

We are a leader in the luxury care home market, offering the best to our clients and we are looking for AN exceptional Senior Dementia Care Assistant to join our care team.

The Senior Dementia Care Assistant role

- Our SeniorDementia Care Assistants must promote and deliver person-centred care within our care philosophy.
- Our Senior Dementia Care Assistants must within a team ethos with the resident's choices, dignity, independence and personal safety being at the core of all care and support activity.
- Our Senior Dementia Care Assistants must provide direct care to residents involving, washing, assistance with dressing, help with mobility and support with food and fluid intake.
- Provide on-going support for the residents, their family and the Care Services Team.

Our Senior Dementa Care Assistant must provide support, information and guidance to people with dementia helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives.

About our Senior Dementia Care Assistants:

- Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally
- A flexible and pro-active individual able to work in a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload under pressure
- Medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities
- A passionate individual ready to develop and learn new skills in order to progress in your role.
As a Dementia care

assistant

an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care

is essential.
