Summary

GCSE's in Maths and English Grade C or above (or Functional Skills / Key Skills Level 2) and an NVQ in Health level 2 / BNCS or have completed the internal Level 2 HCA Programme is essential in order to apply for this position.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is one of the largest foundation trusts in the North West. We provide a range of specialist tertiary services including Cancer, Renal, Plastics, Vascular, Neurosciences and Specialist Mobility and Rehabilitation. We are the Major Trauma Centre and the Vascular Centre for Lancashire and South Cumbria. This means our hospital delivers the latest treatment for a broad spectrum of serious, complex and uncommon conditions. We also provide the local hospital services for the 400,000 population of central Lancashire from our Hospitals in Preston and Chorley.

Ribblesdale ward is the oncology ward based at the Royal Preston Hospital. The current ward is soon to be renovated into a purpose built oncology ward with state of the art facilities
