What you will do as a Senior Pre-Assessment Nurse:

• Undertake a full assessment of your patient to ensure that they are fit for their surgery – liaising with all clinical departments to coordinate pre-operative tests as needed.
• Support your patients prior to surgery, answering their questions and talking through what to expect post-surgery and through their recovery - good communication skills are vital for this post.
• Support with the day to day management of the unit, ensuring clinics run smoothly and that patients have a fantastic experience.
• You must have an active NMC registration and have experience working within pre-assessment.
