Job Description

We are looking for a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist | Psychologist | Counelling Psychologist to join our successful and dynamic IAPT service, with lots of innovation and service development projects to get involved in. We will also consider applications from Trainee CBT Therapists nearing the end of their training.

You will be based in Surbiton, a short walk away from the station, and will join a team of lively and friendly clinical and counselling psychologists, CBT therapists and psychological wellbeing practitioners.

Alongside high and low intensity CBT interventions, the service also provides step 2 and 3 groups, as well relational therapies such as DIT and IPT, and Behavioural Couples Therapy. We also work alongside our Primary Care Mental Health Team which includes Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists and Mental Health Nurses.

The post-holder will provide assessments and evidence based CBT interventions for a wide range of common mental health disorders. We are looking for Senior Psychological Therapists who have excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to clinical excellence is vital, and we welcome candidates that can work confidently, flexibly and autonomously. As part of your role, you will receive regular clinical supervision and line management support.

The post pays Outer London Weighting Allowance and offers access to high level Trust CPD and regular supervision from experienced clinicians.

The service offers evening clinics (until 8pm) and so flexible working is available.

The post holder would be required to work one 12-8pm shift per week.

Please note that this is a CBT post, therefore please only apply if you have experience in, or a qualification in the delivery of CBT.
