Senior Quality and Compliance Specialist

I am supporting my client, who is a global pharmaceutical company based in the North West who are looking for a Senior Quality and Compliance Specialist to join them. They are offering up to £52,000 per annum plus 5% bonus and benefits.
It is a really fantastic time to join the business due to them bringing in new biologics products onto site, which is the reason for this position. Therefore, they require someone to have strong biologics experience or ISO 13485 background.

The person moving into this role will be the subject matter expert and will be responsible for advising all departments for the design and implementation of quality management systems and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

To lead the design, implementation and development of the Quality Management Systems
Lead site audits ensuring to identify areas of improvement and support in providing solutions with the departments to reduce risk of non-compliance
Providing metrics to the senior management teams to inform about site readiness
Research and keep up to date with the most recent regulatory standard and industry intelligence to use for compliance and quality standard processesRequirements

BSc in Scientific or related field is essential
Extensive experience of working in a similar Quality role within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
Strong experience in working with biologics or medical device products is essential
