Senior Registered Nurse - RGN - Pre-Assessment
Sheffield - Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
LINQ Healthcare are proud to be partnering with one of Britain's leading providers of independent healthcare who are currently seeking a Senior Registered Nurse / RGN to join their team in their 77 bed private hospital located in Sheffield.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics who perform complex surgery covering a multitude of different specialities utilising a range of facilities. The successful Senior Registered Nurse will join team working on a fulltime basis, working 37.5 hours a week and will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern with the pre-assessment department.
Senior Registered Nurse applicants must meet the following criteria:
Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing or
Evidence of relevant clinical professional development, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration
Current, up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
Studies Registered General Nurse level 1
2 years previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector
Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations
Duties of the Senior Registered Nurse role include:
Ensuring standards of patient care are always maintained in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures
Work to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users
Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care
Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to NMC standards for records and record keeping
Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of Professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Be an advocate for patient care, searching for ways to improve the value and effectiveness of care and services delivered
Encouraging the development of research and audit based clinical practice.
