MFFD Ward 7B

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Senior Sister / Charge Nurse to join our Medically Fit for Discharge Ward. We require a confident, pioneering, dynamic nurse to help lead and manage the nursing team. As a senior sister / charge nurse, you will be able to influence develop and improve this service in conjunction with the current senior team. Our Complex Ward is supported by a wider multi-disciplinary team and your Matron will guide and encourage your development to reach your full potential.

This is an exciting chance to develop and build on your current leadership skills. You should be organised, have the ability to demonstrate supportive management, professionalism and integrity. This role will enable you to gain extensive new skills in leadership, people management and finance within the clinical environment. You will have the responsibility for setting a high standard in the development, implementation and evaluation of patient care and discharge.

You will need to be able to motivate and inspire the nursing team, work independently and as part of a team. In return you can expect excellent support and encouragement for personal and professional development.
