An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a full time experienced and dynamic Band 7 Senior Sister/ Senior Charge Nurse to join our existing team at the Eastbourne Hospital East Sussex.
The unit comprises of 8 beds ( 5 Level 3 beds/ 3 level 2 beds). We work closely with our sister unit Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
We are very proud of our units who were both recognised as 'Good' across all areas of the QCC standards.
If you are enthusiastic, innovative and committed to maintaining high standards of nursing we would like to hear from you.
The post holder must have a recognised intensive care course and recognised teaching and assessing qualification. You will need a minimum of 2 years recent critical care experience at a band 6 and must be able to shift lead on a regular basis.
The post holder must have expert clinical and assessment skills, excellent communication and team management skills providing professional leadership in the Critical care unit.
The post is subject to internal rotation.
In order to fulfil the job role and learning requirements, and meet service needs, successful candidates will be required to work 11.30 hour shifts.
