Senior Social Worker - Brief Intervention Team job in Birmingham at Medicare First

Sandwell Children's Trust are looking for Social Workers / Senior Social Workers, to join a newly created Brief Intervention Team. You will be working with children and families currently subject to CIN plans, with the aim of stepping the cases down or closing them down completely.

Working as part of the Brief Intervention Team, you will be assigned six families for whom a six week period of intervention is likely to result in safe closure or step-down for the children. You will visit them, complete any intervention required to progress to safe closure or step down, undertake CIN reviews and record your work. Visits will be face to face where possible but we'll also provide you with the latest technology to make virtual visiting meaningful. There will be no statutory assessments or court work.
