Our Chemotherapy Day unit is a bespoke environment, we have invested in the best technology and training for our staff and are the only Private Hospital in the area providing Gamma Knife. Within our Oncology department, all Clinical staff trained in the Gold standard framework.

What you'll be doing


  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients, their families and other healthcare professionals following diagnosis and through all stages of treatment.
  • Ensure continuity of a high standard of evidence based nursing care for patients undergoing systemic anti cancer treatment therapy; assessing health, health related and nursing needs of patients, their families and other cares by identifying and initiating appropriate steps for effective care. This will include :
  • Managing a patient caseload
  • Close liaison with Medical Consultants
  • Ordering diagnostic tests within agreed parameters
  • Running nurse-led clinics as required
  • Work autonomously whilst providing clinical leadership, ensuring all patients have an accurate plan of care, which reflects the assessment undertaken and incorporates the issues and recommendations made ensuring clear documentation in the patient's records.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in intravenous access, the management of central venous catheters, venepuncture, and systemic anti cancer treatment therapy, delivery, including management of anaphylaxis extravasations and spillage

  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Experience working within chemotherapy
  • Cannulation skills and experience in chemotherapy
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
