West London        
Permanent, FT - 37.5 hrs              
Up to £32,000 plus enhacements

Client Information:          
Our client is one of the UK's leading private hospital groups with locations throughout the UK. They currently offer treatment to patients undergoing medical and surgical interventions. They operate within state of the art facilities equipped with the latest technology. Their hospitals are able to offer the most complex surgeries to patients with exceptional aftercare both inpatient and outpatient.        
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse to join the Outpatients team to be based in one of their hospitals based in West London.    
Working as a Senior Staff Nurse you will be responsible for ensuring that the right standard of care is provided to patients at all times. You will be in charge of the shifts and supervise all junior members of staff on the unit and also deputising for the Sisters and Nurse Managers in their absence. You will encapsulate the ethos of the hospital supporting patients through their journey. Part of your day to day will involve preparing for clinics, phlebotomy, health screening, wound care and assisting consultants in minor procedures. Part of your role will also involve administrative duties such as updating clinic sheets, answering queries from patients, consultants and secretaries and booking consultant rooms and ensuring that patients have any follow up appointments booked in. You may also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff    
To be suitable for this role you must have 2+years experience working in a surgical or outpatient setting. You will have experience in phlebotomy, health screening, wound care and also maintaining a sterile field. Working in a senior role you will have excellent communication and leadership skills and a strong ability to work effectively within a team and to motivate a team.
