Ross Dene in Outwood, Wakefield are currently recruiting a senior support worker to join our fantastic team. Ross Dene provide round-the-clock support to people with varying degrees of learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and mental health needs. We offer a transition service for people between the ages of 18-64 and we are also able to offer emergency placements during times of crisis. The service is accredited by the National Autistic Society and as an employer we are specialists in supporting people with autism.
As a Senior Support Worker you would oversee support staff and lead by example. You would also be required to complete support plans and risk assesments, complete staff supervisions, observations and appraisals and administer medication among other duties required of you. You'll operate within the home and local community settings providing hands-on care to the people we support, so you can expect total involvement in everything we do.
With Voyage Care, you would work on a shift basis including days and sleeping nights.
