£500 Welcome Bonus

Job Title: Senior Support Worker - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Covering shifts on a rota basis, Monday - Sunday; early, late and night shifts (nights shifts are not on a regular basis, only on-call or emergency cover) - 7:30am-3:00pm, 2:30pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm - 8:00am

Service/Location: Devonshire House in Ardwick, Manchester

Pay Rate: £10.19 per hour

Overtime available at an enhanced rate of +£2ph above hourly pay rates

We're proud to pay all employees at National Living Wage rate, or above, including those aged under 23

Role Overview:
We are looking for dedicated and ambitious staff for our 24 bed ABI rehabilitation service; Devonshire House in Ardwick, Manchester. This will be a challenging but rewarding role and an exciting opportunity for all new staff at this fantastic service.

Overseeing Support Workers, our Senior Support Workers ensure the support team work in accordance with care plans for individuals with ABI (Acquired Brain Injury). You'll operate within the home and local community settings providing hands-on care to the people we support, so you can expect total involvement in everything we do.

At Voyage Care, we already have a number of specialist ABI rehabilitation services across the country, and we work intensively with multi-disciplinary teams to rehabilitate and provide on-going care and support for people with brain injuries and complex needs.

Requirements:

Our Senior Support Workers are required to have a sound experience of supporting people with varying care needs, and are familiar with leading a team and managing responsibilities of the teams record keeping along with supervising the team on a daily basis and bi-monthly supervision. With a commitment to care and a passion for making a difference. In return, we offer all the training (3 full days of specialist ABI training as per of the induction package), benefits and options for career development you would expect from a leader in our field.

To ensure that we can keep both the People we Support and our workforce safe, it is a requirement that all frontline staff who work for Voyage Care are willing to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

**Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary.
