Role: Senior Operating Department Practitioner - Anaesthetics
Location: Hatfield
Salary: Up to £37k plus benefits based on skillset and experience
Hours: 37.5 per week Monday to Friday with some Saturday shifts required

MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital in the Hatfield area of London for an Senior operating department practitioner specialising in anaesthetics, scrub or recovery. This 31 bed hospital boasts 3 operating theatres, 10 consulting suites, extended recovery unit and MRI, Xray and ultrasound department.

You will be reporting to the theatre manager or speciality lead, you will be required to provide a high standard of patient care as part of the operating theatre team during each phase of the patients perioperative care - anaesthetic, surgery and recovery. You will work in the surgery team and manage the preparation of the operating theatres, You'll also be the link between the surgical team and other parts of the operating theatre and hospital.

The ideal candidate will be an NMC registered nurse RGN or HCPC Registered operating Department practitioner/ODP. experience within a clinical environment in anaesthetics, scrub or recovery is also a requirement along with good clinical knowledge and understanding, previous experience of managing clinical audits and Substantial perioperative experience required.
