Senior Therapeutic Residential Child Care Worker – Staffordshire

Salary: £20,942 to £23,208 per annum plus benefits

Contract: Full time, Permanent

The Company

My client, an Ofsted Registered care and education focussed business is looking to appoint two caring and friendly Senior Therapeutic Residential Child Care Workers to support the RM for their new 2 bedded home in Staffordshire.

Role and Responsibilities

You will be dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic and will be joining the new 2 bedded home and will be instrumental in developing their very first dedicated CSE service. The new two bedded service will be supporting young people who are at risk to or have been sexually exploited. In this role you will receive a higher level of face to face training dedicated to CSE such as; advanced safeguarding, advanced awareness to CSE, self-harm/suicide training delivered by Harm Ed, as well as skills training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) delivered by the clinical team.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

It is essential that you must hold a QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young people’s workforce
Experience in a residential setting
It is essential that you have an EBD experience with children and young people.
