Job Description

We're recruiting a Service Manager post in North London. As a Registered Manager / Service Manager you'll be responsible for the day to day running of supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You'll manage the team leaders and ensure that a quality care service is provided for all service users. You'll need experience as a Service Manager / deputy manager/ supported living manager before in a care service that supports people with learning disabilities. The Service Manager role

As the Service Manager / Registered Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring that a quality care service is delivered to all clients within supported living, and that the service meets CQC requirements.

You'll achieve this through..

  • Training and developing team leader's in all aspects of their role and ensure they conduct monthly check's / audits
  • Interview Team leaders with directors
  • Construct care plans, risk assessments and all other documentation
  • Chase payments and invoices
  • Meet regularly with TL's service users and their families to ensure that their needs and wishes are met
  • Seek feedback from team leaders service users and care professionals
  • Update Social workers if any changes to an individuals care are required
  • Liaise with team leers to see what staff training is required
  • Make sure rota is complete by TL@s and ensure it is correct
  • Manage all referrals, arrange meetings, complete assessments
  • Monthly Audit's
  • Serious case investigations 2nd level complaints

The Successful Candidate

  • We're looking for somebody who has experience of and is passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge
  • You'll need management experience in a role such as Service manager, care manager, senior team leader, deputy manager
  • Ideally, you'll be level 5 qualified or working towards and it would be great if you have been registered with CQC previously.
