Experienced Social Worker looking to work alongside Adults with a complexity of needs related to their Learning Disability/Autism, Mental or Physical Health or a combination of all the above. The successful candidate would have a real interest in relationship-based social work, with a focus on building independence through a positive approach to risk and the strengths-based model.
This role will work closely with adults placed in residential and supported living accommodation along with providers.
This role sits within our Countywide team based in Colchester however please be advised that Countywide travel is part of this role.
In line with government legislation, all colleagues who work in a CQC registered care home or will need to attend such a setting as part of their role must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This role has been deemed in scope of this legislation and therefore to be considered for the role you must confirm on application you are fully vaccinated or will be fully vaccinated by November 11th 2021, or that you are exempt. In line with the councils current Ways of Working, this role will be predominantly based from home however this is regularly reviewed and there may be requirement on occasion to attend an ECC office. There is an expectation for face-to-face visits to be carried out with service users.
