Join the new women's mental health service opening at The Woodmill as a Social Worker and help women build a brighter future. It's a great time to join and help shape this new service as part of a new multidisciplinary team and make a real impact.

You will work 37.5 hours a week at the new mental health service, The Woodmill in central Cullompton, where you will support women who require rehabilitation to assist them in getting back into the community, where conditions may include personality disorders, Autism and associated challenges. It's a great opportunity to be part of something new and help shape its future.

You will build individual rapports to support people to engage in their treatment plans and collate information relating to service users and their care plans.

With previous experience from the NHS or private care, you will manage a complex caseload where you will be responsible for social care assessments, risk assessments, facilitate group activities, and will contribute to ICR meetings, supporting service users to make viable plans for their future.

This Social Worker role involves:

Complete comprehensive social care assessments and reports as required from the pre-admission to discharge stage
Liaising with the home authorities at the point of admission and maintaining this liaison function through to discharge stage
Collaborating with the home authorities and service users to support families in the decision making/care planning process
Contribute to the preparation of reports for Mental Health Review Tribunals, appeals to MH Act Independent Hospital Managers and attending hearingsWhat you will need:

Experience in a mental health setting
Experience working with women
Knowledge of autism and personality disorders
CQSW or CSS or Dip, SW,(e), Degree in Social Work
AMHP, MSc Social WorkWhat you will get:
