Legal 500 firm in Luton is seeking a Mental Health Solicitor on a full-time basis. This role offers remote working.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with experience in Legal Aid and mental health law to join a busy team in Luton, with the opportunity to work remotely. You will undertake a varied caseload and support vulnerable clients.

To put you forward for this position, we require your ideal salary and location and notice period.


  • Conducting own advocacy
  • Using case management systems
  • Legal Aid funded matters
  • Liaising with clients
  • Representing vulnerable clients
  • Treatment and aftercare issues
  • Human rights issues
  • Analysing reports
The Candidate

  • Qualified solicitors with experience in a similar role
  • Experienced within mental health law
  • Law Society Mental Health Accreditation Scheme membership is essential
  • Experienced in managing own caseload
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Experienced in Legal Aid matters
  • A strong communicator both written and verbally
  • Has outstanding client care skills and an empathetic approach
