*** Calling All Sonographers ***
 
TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting Experienced Sonographers in Western Sussex. Our client provides health care for nearly 500,000 people. It is a forward looking and innovative hospital whose purpose is to provide high quality emergency and elective care for the people of West Sussex. 
 
Your Role:
 
  • You will work independent as a Sonographer producing good quality images for a wide range of ultrasound examinations.

  • You will be highly competent in all aspects of ultrasound undertaken maintaining the highest quality of patient care.

  • You will also issue independent and accurate clinical reports to referring clinicians and be responsible for checking own differential diagnostic reports.


 
These are Full time, Permanent position.      
 
Key Requirements          
       
  • BSc in Radiography or equivalent

  • HCPC Registration

  • PgC/PgD/DMU or equivalent in Medical Ultrasound

  • Extensive and current knowledge in a wide range of ultrasound scans

  • Nuchal translucency accreditation with DQASS and Fetal Medicine Foundation desirable

  • Carotid and DVT scanning expertise desirable

  • Vascular scanning and Obstetric Doppler scanning e.g. uterine, MCA etc

  • Proven experience of working autonomously and independently issuing of accurate reports

  • Knowledge of clinical & non-clinical incident reporting

  • Knowledge of QA and technical fault reporting

  • Experience or qualification in IV cannulation

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Able to care and show empathy to patients and relatives

  • Articulate, flexible and enthusiastic
