Specialist Dietitian for Children – Home Enteral Nutrition

The Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) team is looking for an innovative, paediatric dietitian with experience in nutrition support and desire to work in a dynamic community setting to join our multi-disciplinary HEN service based in New Cross.

The HEN Team support people of all ages to safely manage their eating, drinking and tube feeding at home. We are a specialist community service for people living in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham with a feeding tube.

The team is responsible for assessing and overseeing the nutritional needs of all patients who are requiring HEN. Our multi-disciplinary team comprises of specialist dietitians, speech & language therapists, administrators as well as Nutrition Nurses. The paediatric dietetic team sits within this team and comprises of 2 dietitians who work alongside the children’s community nursing teams, other paediatric health care professionals both in the acute and community sectors, educational and social services to support children who require HEN, whose diagnoses and conditions are wide ranging and can be rare.

We are a flexible, friendly, multi-disciplinary team, who are keen to provide you the working environment for you to thrive and progress in your dietetics career. Ongoing support and supervision is always available and is integral to the ethos of the team.
