I am currently recruiting for a Specialist Sports intervention assistant to work part time in and around the Leeds area with upper KS2 and KS3 individuals with special educational needs including: high functioning Asperger's, ASC and ASD. This is to work on a one to one basis providing additional support through therapeutic sports interventions while also supporting the individuals transitioning period moving into secondary schools.

For this role you will:
* Experience in a sporting background.
* Supporting individuals with High functioning Asperger's, ASC or ASD.
* Build and maintain trusted relationship with the individual you are supporting.
* Provide engaging sporting activities IE: Sports drills etc.
* Team Teach trained is ideal, but not essential.
* Be able to provide therapeutic methods for individual dealing with transitioning to a secondary school environment.
