Job Description

Staff and Senior Staff Nurse

£25,680 to £31,286 + Shift Enhancements (30% extra Saturday/nights & 60% extra Sundays worked)
A top 20 UK charity, St Andrew`s is a unique provider of specialist care in mental health and learning disability. We aspire to deliver truly world class, holistic services within our outstanding, modern facilities. Our independence means we can always put patients` interests at the heart of decision making, while re-investing surpluses in frontline services. We are currently transforming the Charity and are introducing Integrated Practice Units (IPUs) as the vehicle to deliver `Value Based Healthcare`. This will ensure our patients consistently get the best possible outcomes and local teams gain more control and responsibility.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff or Senior Staff Nurse to join our Learning disability and autistic spectrum disorder service on a permeant, full-time basis in Northampton. With a focus on engagement in a therapeutic environment for forensic and non-forensic male and female service users.

We recognise that each service user has a truly unique set of needs and therefore we believe in developing an in-depth understanding of each individual in order to improve their quality of life and reduce risk.

We want you to provide person-centred care through bespoke individualised and group therapy, assessments and by helping service users` progress to the least restrictive setting possible.

One of our service users said:

``Feeling that they care-this has the biggest part-feeling it without someone saying it``

We offer an excellent benefits package including:

- Pension
- Sickness policy on par with the NHS
- 35 days annual leave, increasing to 41 after 10 years` service
- Life cover
