What’s the role? 

We would like to welcome a Registered Nurse (RMN) into our team at our Inpatient Unit on Ash Ward in Bridgwater. This is a full-time position for a Band 5 RMN, offering between £23,023 and £29,608, dependent on your experience.

Who are you?

You will be a fully qualified Mental Health Nurse, registered with the NMC and dedicated to providing top-quality service to those in your care. You'll be able to apply the philosophies of engagement, recovery, and positive and proactive care in your work with service users. With your outstanding communication skills you will join a team that works innovatively to demonstrate their commitment to providing compassionate care and improving the patient experience.

Prior experience as a Band 5 would be preferable but is not essential, as we would also welcome applications from preceptees.

Ash Ward is a 12 bed low secure inpatient rehabilitation and recovery unit for male adults with mental health difficulties. We provide skilled, supportive, person centred care for people whose psychiatric condition requires treatment in conditions of low security. The service is guided by recovery and rehabilitation principles to offer individuals care based on thorough assessment of clinical needs and risks.

Job Requirements

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
