The Acute Cardiac Unit at Poole Hospital is an 8 bedded unit caring for acutely ill patients with a range of cardiac conditions. We are looking to recruit a Staff Nurse with a passion for cardiac nursing.
Our department includes a Non Invasive Cardiac Investigation service, undertaking, stress echocardiograms, trans oesophageal echocardiograms, CT angiography and myoview perfusion scans. We also have a theatre where permanent pacemakers are implanted and DC cardioversions are performed.
We have full time positions of 37.5 hours available. This is an exciting and varied job and will involve working on CCU caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions, assisting with non invasive cardiac investigation clinics and working in our pacing theatre.
Previous cardiac experience is desirable but not essential. If you are interested please arrange an informal visit so you can see the unit and meet our team.
Please note: if this job requires you to have a DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed from your salary.
