Job Description

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides services through its three hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester. We provide all general hospital services for planned and emergency care as well as specialist services.

Who we are:

The Discharge Lounge at Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital are looking for Band 5 Staff Nurses to extend the capability of services to care for people waiting for discharge.

This role provides care to patients who are medically fit to go home on the last day of their stay in hospital while they are waiting for transport or medications.

The hours are currently 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, but there is a possibility this will increase to include weekends and bank holidays.

We encourage applicants to arrange an informal visit to meet the team who are ready and waiting to work with you.
